When the Druid Hills Education Foundation was sidelined by the pandemic shortly after receiving its nonprofit status, Gail stepped in to help create a path forward. Gail worked with the Druid Hills HS Principal and Foundation Board of Directors to devise a collaborative model for the many fundraising groups at the school. By securing the foundation’s status as a Georgia PEACH Education Tax Credit beneficiary, Gail helped DHEF generate $128,000 of revenue in the first year of participation. These funds supported student mental health and scholarships that ensure enrichment activities are inclusive for all.
