Gail facilitated a comprehensive strategic development process to revitalize The Foundation for MERS. Recognizing that internal cohesion is a prerequisite for external success, the engagement focused on essential board work—establishing professional norms, refining the mission and vision, modernizing the bylaws and expanding board membership. Through a series of high-level coaching sessions and two in-person planning retreats, we successfully built a consensus-driven framework across four pillars: Operations, Resource Development, Board Development, and Community Engagement. The result was a robust 3-year strategic plan and a three-committee infrastructure that empowered this volunteer-led organization to move forward with a unified, sustainable vision.
Working with Gail and The Callahan Collaborative has truly been transformative for our foundation. Gail’s expertise and ability to identify and find solutions to issues that have been stifling our foundation has propelled us forward and reignited our board. We are truly grateful to her and thankful for this collaboration!
